Course Descriptions
6th Grade Band
The 6th grade band program is where the musical journey begins for many students. It's a place where students, some with no prior musical experience, learn how to read music, play an instrument, and perform together in a group.
7th & 8th Grade Band
The 7th and 8th Grade Band is where students can further develop their music technique, performance skills, and instrument proficiency. The band will participate in four concert performances, a large music festival, and march in the Jr. Lilac Parade.

In Concert Choir, students will focus on different aspects of performing music as a group. This includes developing skills in tone production, breathing, choral techinques, artistry, rhythm, melody, intervals, & 2-part harmony. The concert choir will participate in 4 concert performances, a caroling trip, and choir festival.
